One of these days I'll get around to posting something other than photos from Brigalow Beatz, but it was just so much fun & I'm so stoked at the photographs I was able to get there! Tonight I'm bringing you another of my Brigalow Beatz favourites - Pigeon. Billed as a live electronic/dance/pop group, I wasn't expecting them to be exactly my cup of tea. I'm usually not a big fan of electronic music, but these guys were absolutely amazing! Their life performances (I was lucky enough to see them twice over the two days of the festival) were absolutely mental - they are such skilled musicians, and they perform with an energy level that I'm incredible envious of. An electronic band playing live instruments is a whole different board game to a couple of guys with a synth machine, and the difference shows in their music. Plus, any band with a trumpet/saxophone player is automatically cool, right?
